How We Ship

We've been shipping for ages so over the years we've gotten a lot of practice! When packaging corals we place each coral inside a protective cup then place that in a frag bag. While shipping is expensive and added weight makes it more expensive, we firmly believe that more water gives the coral better odds of survival. So expect about 3/4 cups worth of water with every coral. We double bag the coral and place corals in groups of three into a bigger bag. This stops the likelihood of leaks and further protects corals from arriving DOA. Padding in the form of newspaper is then placed around the corals and if required, we will tape a heat pack or an ice pack to the top of lid. This styrofoam cooler is then sealed and placed inside a cardboard outer. An overnight label is slapped on the box and UPS picks it up!
